  • 1 lb ground bison meat

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 1-15oz can pinto beans

  • 2-16oz cans peeled tomatoes

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

In a medium skillet, saute the onion until translucent. Then add the ground bison meat and cook until browned.

Add the pinto beans, tomatoes, water, and spices.

Cover and let simmer for 1 hour. (Add more water if the chili becomes too thick)
